A successful research project will follow FOUR phases, from the Initiation to Completion.
Each of the phases has more steps, please follow the links to the relevant section.
As from 1 January 2018 a researcher no longer need to submit a Proposal and then a Protocol. Researchers are invited to submit a FULL PROPOSAL only (similar in content to the document previously called a protocol) to initiate application for funding for a project. This step has been taken to speed up the application process!
All protocols are considered by a Subject Working Group (SWG) Committee. These SWG committees use criteria and priorities as set by the industry to consider if a protocol is successful and will be funded. To find out more about these criteria and how the SWG's operate and are compiled, follow this link.
