12th Meat Symposium
Friday, 7 November 2014, Sanlam Auditorium, University of Pretoria
Theme: Relevance of the South African Carcass Classification System
The South African cattle and small stock description systems can be traced back to 1932. Over time these description systems have been adopted and refined as informed by research in consultation with industry role players. A critical rethink of the relevance of the current carcass classification system will be the theme of the day.
